Honors Mission Statement The Gallaudet University Honors program is a community students, faculty, and staff members fostering the highest level of academic development and success among student learners. Promoting in depth critical thinking as well as personal development through a bilingual curriculum, the Honors Program provides a comprehensive alternative undergraduate program from recruitment to Honors graduation. Honors faculty, staff and students keep abreast of trends in the Honors education community nationally in order to develop the most effective alternative liberal education pedagogies, curriculum, and co- or extra-curricular programming.
