Paths to Graduation

A two-tiered system

The Honors Program offers two types of Honors upon graduation. The first is general studies Honors. This is available to any student in Honors who satisfies the requirements (see 'General Studies Honors').  A student enrolling as a freshman will be admitted on the general studies track.

In their Junior year, students in general studies Honors may start working towards their Capstone Honors requirements (see 'Capstone Honors' for further details). Capstone Honors students enjoy immense support from the University and receive special recognition at graduation.  A student who chooses to be involved with Honors throughout his/her undergraduate career may well end up graduating with both types of Honors!
