SHORT BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Robert Harrison is chair of the Communication Studies Department-a department that features a strong and active group of faculty and staff committed to Gallaudet University and the community that it serves. The Department takes great pride in its majors and minors and sees their welfare as a priority.

Dr. Harrison also served as chair of the Council on Undergraduate Education (CUE) from 1998 to 2003 and as chair of Committee F, the faculty development standing committee, from 1992 to 1997.

Teaching is a particular passion of Dr. Harrison. He has been fortunate to teach a wide variety of courses at Gallaudet-some interdisciplinary courses among these. Currently, he is teaching COM 340 Business and Professional Communication and COM 280 Group Discussion on a regular basis.
